Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Caryn Coleman graduated in 1998 from the University of Florida where she studied Literature and Art History. As co-owner and director of sixspace, a gallery located in the thriving art district of Culver City that concentrates on both regional and international emerging artists, she curates the exhibition program and manages gallery artists Heather Cantrell, Coop, Sarah Cromarty, Donovan Crosby, Glen E. Friedman, Wendy Heldmann, Sean Higgins, Seonna Hong, kozyndan, Carrie Marill, and Chad Robertson. Quoted in the LA Weekly as saying, "I have more opinions about art than necessary," Coleman expanded her thoughts on art by launching art.blogging.la in February 2004 as a forum to discuss the vibrant and influential Los Angeles art scene. abLA has been featured in Art in America, Los Angeles Times, L.A. Weekly, and was included in Forbes "Best of the Web" for 2005.
Caryn currently lives in Silver Lake with her husband Sean, her two minpins (Lebowski and Quint), and two cats (Pig and Kira). She watches too many movies, particularly horror films from the 1960s-1970s, is obsessed with ALIAS, eats too much pasta, reads historical biographies, and loves drinking whiskey and coffee (though not at the same time).
